Who are HeyOrca!?
HeyOrca! is a software company, offering a social media scheduling tool for marketing agencies.
What was their need?
We first started working with HeyOrca! back in 2016. HeyOrca! was growing but with a team of less than 25 they weren’t ready for a full time HR person and yet still needed support with HR processes and activities in the organization. The CEO wanted help to ensure that all the right people were in the right places and doing the right things, that he had the right leadership team with the right skills to support growth, and that they developed and maintained the right culture to attract and retain talent.
What did we do and what was the result?
We have an ongoing relationship with HeyOrca! to support all their people activities and foster the development of the leadership team. We have worked with HeyOrca! over the last 8 years, through leadership changes, COVID, and their growth trajectory. We have helped develop HR infrastructure such as policies and procedures, reviewed compensation principles and practices and supported their employee engagement survey and action planning processes to ensure that the leadership team was focusing on moving the dial on the things that would make a difference to team retention and performance. With the leadership team we implemented a system of training and coaching, both group and 1:1, elevating the focus of the team and the individual leadership capability of team members.
