Home Again are a not-for-profit furniture bank helping people have the furniture they need to create a home.
Home Again had a small team and was looking to have a clear direction and the right resources to advance the organization, moving to being more of a stand alone, sustainable organization. Home Again wanted help to figure out what roles and responsibilities should be, where they needed more people, and in what roles and how to attract that talent.
We first helped Home Again to develop a clear strategic plan to align the board, the team, and their volunteers behind the direction of the organization. Through a series of interactive sessions and insight from stakeholders we helped the planning committee shape a vision for the future and define the most important steps to achieve it.
With a clear plan, we then facilitated a role and responsibilities session with the senior team to clarify what resources were needed to achieve the plan, define the roles and clarify the different accountabilities and responsibilities of team members.
Home Again have successfully delivered on their strategic plan and are now refreshing it for the future. They have a full team to deliver on services and just successfully recruited a full time, permanent Executive Director to lead the organization forward from here.
